Wanstead High School is celebrating an amazing set of results with 29% of pupils reaching A*/A, 61% A*-B and 82% A*-C, a significant increase from last year. 59% of pupils will be studying at Russell Group Universities and one pupil, Lily Samuels, at Cambridge with 2A*s and 2 As in Geography, History of Art, History and Art.

The Headteacher, Emma Hillman, said: ‘We are so thrilled with these outcomes, which validate the hard work of all the pupils, staff and support of parents. 'The class of 2025 are inspirational, and we wish them every success on the next stage of their journey.’ Head of Sixth Form, Eleni Bray, commented on the hard work and ambition of this year's group, which was ‘beyond belief!’.

Lola Jefferson-Tuite was delighted with 3 A*s in Art, Politics and Sociology and will be studying Art at the King’s Foundation and Luke Peterson also achieved the highest grades possible with A*s in Maths, Physics and Computer Science - the world is his oyster.
