We are seeking an inspirational Teacher of Maths and Key Stage 4 Coordinator to join our well-established Maths department.  This is a fantastic opportunity for a person with experience teaching across all Key Stages of Maths, enabling pupils to achieve their highest potential and working collaboratively with other staff members.  The successful candidate will be expected to teach Maths to A Level standard and will contribute substantially to the continual cycle of refinement across all year groups.

The post would suit an experienced teacher and ECT alike who has the drive and enthusiasm to deliver an academically challenging programme of study for pupils of all ability levels.  You will be a dynamic, committed professional who strives for all pupils to do their very best.  You will have exemplary core skills of literacy and numeracy and you will create exciting lessons across the age ranges that lead pupils to want to know more.  You will be ambitious and proactive in seeking solutions to problems.

To assist in providing technical and practical support to teaching and learning primarily in the subject area of Art and Photography but also, if required, to support the work of the DT, Food and Textiles area.

The main responsibility for this post will be for Art and Photography by ensuring that resource and material requirements are effectively met for practical sessions including setting up and dismantling equipment as required by the class teachers.

Head of Economics

We are seeking an inspirational Head of Department to lead the Economics department to teach our Key Stage 5 classes, as well as impact financial literacy across the school. We are very proud of our Economics department and know that this helps make our school unique and attract sixth formers. This is a fantastic opportunity for a person wishing to lead a department and to teach Key Stage 5, enabling pupils to achieve their highest potential and working collaboratively with other staff members. We hope the right person will also want to engage with our younger learners inspiring them to develop their financial acumen and hopefully a growing cohort of Economics pupils in the future. There may be an opportunity for the successful candidate to teach Business at some point in the future at Key Stage 4 or 5.
