Dear Parents/Carers,
There are two ways of accessing or reviewing what work your child is completing in lessons and any homework that has been set.
- Parent/Guardian Summaries
- Pupil Google Classroom
Parent/Guardian Summaries
At the start of the academic year, you will have received an invitation to view Google classrooms as a guardian.
Once you have accepted this invite, you will be able to view the following summaries:
- Missing work —Work not turned in when the summary was sent.
- Upcoming work —Work that’s due today and tomorrow (for daily emails) or that’s due in the upcoming week (for weekly emails).
- Class activity —Announcements, assignments, and questions recently posted by teachers.
The parent/guardian summary does not allow you to access all resources. If you would like to access the content to support your child, you must log in using your child’s account.
How to I access my child’s account
During the first 2 weeks of Computer Science lessons, your child will be provided with login details.
Your child would have changed their password and should be aware of this.
The Year 7 username is set using the following criteria. We use the example of Aiden Ali, as he is in Year 7, we will start the username with the year the pupil joined the school(e.g. 24). We then use the first initial of their first name (e.g. A) and full surname (e.g. Ali)
Example: 24AAli
We then added the following domain to this username: @elearning.wansteadhigh.co.uk
So the final login for Google Classrooms is:
