Cashless Catering
Wanstead High School is now a cashless school. Below is an explanation of the different functions of the cashless lunch card and the most common questions we have had in the main office:
This is the system that allows parents to put money onto their child's account. Parents register for this and choose payments towards school meals. You can add funds to the ParentPay account either on the internet (There is a link on the sift side on this site).
I have free school meals, what should I do?
I have free school meals and want to buy food at other times of the day apart from lunch
The balance says zero but my parents put money on the website
It takes up to 48 hours for funds to be shown on your account. In practice we are finding money appears the next day. Please remember to plan in advance when topping up. We will loan money to the account if your balance is zero, but this will be taken from the top-up amount.
I can’t activate my ParentPay account
Please contact the main school office that will help with this. Please see Ms Seale.
