Key Stage 3 Curriculum
In KS3 science students will develop practical and enquiry skills which will include using a range of scientific methods and techniques to develop and test ideas and explanations. They will assess risk and learn how to work safely in the laboratory, planning and carrying out practical and investigative activities, both individually and in groups. They will be encouraged to develop a critical understanding of evidence and to evaluate scientific evidence and working methods. They will also learn to communicate their ideas and understanding using appropriate methods including ICT.

In KS4 Science students have the option of studying Core Science, Additional Science and Triple Science at GCSE.
