Art

Our Art Department is very successful, with excellent teaching and resources and a track record of achievement at the highest level.  Students have gone on to study at some of the most prestigious universities.

During years 7-9 students are taught how to use a variety of media and equipment ensuring they have a high degree of practical and creative skills to prepare them for study at GCSE and A Level.

At GCSE students study Art and Design

At AS and A Level we offer courses in Art and Design and Art Photography,


How you can help

Visit galleries as a family and encourage older students to visit independently or join workshops at some of the major galleries, including Tate, The National Gallery, National Portrait Gallery, Hayward Gallery and The Courtauld.  See website for details. Build up a store of art materials at home and encourage drawing in their/your spare time.
